Tadena is currently pursuing her law degree at George Mason University School of Law and expects to graduate in 2010. Tadena is Co-Founder and a Partner of Tier One Tutoring, LLC. Tadena also serves as Director of the Music Division at Tier One Tutoring, LLC.

A former Big Ten scholar athlete, Carl has 6 years of coaching experience in baseball, soccer, football, and basketball. Carl is Co-Founder and a Partner of Tier One Tutoring, LLC and is Director of the Scholar Athlete Division at Tier One Tutoring, LLC.

Katherine Dean completed her undergraduate coursework in Communications and Rhetoric, English and Spanish at Syracuse University in 2004. She was awarded a Masters of Arts in Hispanic Languages and Cultures from New York University in 2005. All of her MA program coursework was completed in Spain, where she lived and worked as an ESL teacher for a year and a half. In her years as a tutor/teacher she has helped students improve their skills in Spanish Language, English Language and English composition/argumentation (essay writing). She has worked as Assistant Editor for EDGE publications and is currently employed as a Spanish Interpreter at Providence Hospital, located in Northeast D.C.
Corinne Abolafia, B.A. Candidate, 2013, American University
Corinne joins Tier One Tutoring, LLC as a prospective graduate of American University. Corrine is currently pursuing her Bachelors in Mathematics and Pre-Medicine with a minor in Spanish. Corinne scored near perfect on each subject of her SATs. Corinne has 5 years of tutoring experience with the Alpharetta Police Athletic League. Corinne also has over 10 years of experience playing the violin and served as the Section Leader and Group Instructor for both the Violin and Viola for her high school orchestra.

Thac joins Tier One Tutoring, LLC as a recent graduate of George Mason University with a Bachelors in Biology and plans on attending Dental School. Thac has an excellent command of the Sciences, including Biology, Chemistry and Organic Chemistry and has helped several students gain a better understanding of these subjects.

Anna Wheatley is a graduate of Georgetown University. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in 2008 and will be attending the University of Miami this fall to start a doctorate program. Anna was on the Deans List for multiple semesters at Georgetown and has years of experience working with students and helping them understand subjects like Math. Anna also uses her free time to serve as an Admissions Interviewer for Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program and has served as a College Prep Advisor and Tutor for Meyers Institute for College Preparation and GU Center for Social Justice Reads Program, respectively. Anna also serves as a role model for teenage-aged girls and has led group discussions for Duke Ellington School’s Girl Talk Program.

Uuljan joins Tier One Tutoring, LLC from Convergent Wealth Advisors. At Convergent, Uuljan served as a Portfolio Analysis Intern. She is a prospective graduate of AU with a double specialization in Accounting and Finance. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Uuljan has also been on the Deans List at AU since her Freshman year. She is also fluent in Russian and proficient in French.
